1. Give & Go Gate Drill
Players: 7-15
Quick one-two passing through a gate to teach timing and movement off the ball.
Coaching Focus:
- Timing of the run
- Clean first touches
- Communication (“Through!”)
2. 3v1 Keep Away (Rondo)
Players: 4-14 (change formation or add rondo with more players)
Teaches quick passing, spatial awareness, and control under pressure.
Coaching Focus:
- Sharp, quick passes
- Movement after each pass
- Awareness of passing angles
3. Overlap Passing Drill
Players: 6-14
Practicing overlaps to create width and support in attack.
Coaching Focus:
- Timing overlaps
- Supporting passes
- Encouraging off-the-ball movement
4. 4v2 to Goal
Players: 10
A small-sided game that highlights spacing, decision-making, and finishing under pressure. Players must make 3 passes before shooting 4×2.
Coaching Focus:
- Spacing & support
- Working wide options vs. cutting inside
- Goal decisions under duress
5.⚽️ Thirds Game
Players:9-11
Setup: Split the field into 3 vertical lanes. Players stay in their zone. Pass and move through each third to attack.
